When will I be notified of my student's acceptance at Cornerstone?
Letters offering admission to Cornerstone will be mailed the first week in March following Open Enrollment season. Students accepted after Open Enrollment will be notified as placement is made available.
Is financial aid available at Cornerstone?
At this time financial aid is not available.
Do I have to be a member of a particular church to be accepted at Cornerstone?
Cornerstone requires that all families admitted to the school be active members of a local Christ-centered church.
Does Cornerstone use a religious textbook series?
Cornerstone utilizes the Abeka and Bob Jones curriculum as well as some standard textbooks such as those used in other private or public schools for courses other than Bible. However, all of our courses are taught by teachers who are born-again Spirit-filled Christians.
Does my child need to take an entrance test at Cornerstone?
Your child will be tested to determine proper placement in our classes. The test will cover material that the child has already studied and will be scored according to the national norms for the child's current level of schooling. Your student's current school grades will be reviewed as a part of the admission decision, also.
Does Cornerstone provide transportation services?
Cornerstone does not offer student transportation. Parents are responsible for drop off and pick up of their students. Morning carpool is from 8:15am - 8:40am. Afternoon carpool is from 3:00pm - 3:15pm.
Does tuition cover books?
Yes. Books are covered by tuition. However, other consumable materials used in classes, sports team uniforms, and field trip costs are not covered by tuition.
What is the teacher/student ratio at Cornerstone?
Cornerstone's teacher to student ratio is 1 to 18 school-wide.
